Senior Puppy Class, week 3: we had Dougie, Bertie, Honey, Joe, Louis, and Valerius showing great focus on their handler while practicing 'look at me'. Recall practice was more challenging but we got some great responses towards the end! Great progress everyone! …
Our Winter class kicks off soon. It is so important to keep up the training after puppy class. your beautiful baby puppies are about to have a developmental change as they move into adolescence. You will notice a change in sleeping habits, energy, activity and all of that can come with some changes we might struggle with – barking, chewing, digging, resisting going to bed and making fun games of 'stealing' items around the home:)

Lots of fun to be had in this class, including games that help our growing "teenagers" focus and become engaged, even when the world is full of distractions and can even, at times, seem overwhelming (for dogs and their humans). …
Senior Puppy Class graduation night: Congratulations to Murray, Peggy, Billy, Sara and Hank! Hank and Murray are showing a great 'sit and watch', Billy, a beautifully executed 'sit from drop', and Peggy and Sara, a 'lie on the side'. We also did a coordinated 'stay' with distance and duration! We wrapped it up with all puppies showing off their new tricks: give the paw, spin, roll over and pick the toy I name! Well done everyone! …
